IT will become a commodity, if for no other reason then there is cheap educated labor. I have people with masters in the Philippines working for me making 400-500 dollars a month.

computers cheap

I think it is almost impossible to have IT solutions without software and IT problems are so different and difficult that it cannot be solved without software. But i think minor problems can be.

I agree with your views as today world is of IT. Everybody in every field do want a solution for their problem. IT solutions are always based on software so requirement plays a big role in that.
